Movement and Action

The game’s movement mechanics are designed to keep players on their toes. Interacting with level objects such as portals, jump pads, and rails allows players to build up momentum and charge their V-Shift action. This mechanic enables quick directional changes, massive damage, or extended range attacks.

Level Objects

Portals instantly transport players across the level, while jump pads boost their speed in the direction of the pad. Rails automate movement and momentum building for a controlled path, allowing players to focus on other aspects of the game.

Attacking and Speed

Players use melee attacks to damage and knock back enemies. The attack’s potency is directly linked to the player’s speed, encouraging them to build up velocity before striking. This dynamic system ensures that speed is a vital component of success.

V-Shift Mechanic

By constantly moving, players charge their V-Shift ability, which allows them to redirect momentum instantly. This versatile mechanic can be used to quickly move around the arena, deal massive damage, or extend attack range.

Special Abilities

Each character has a unique special ability that provides an edge in combat. For instance, the Chronomamcher can rewind their movement by three seconds, while the Herald performs a deadly charge attack. The Fool tosses out a delayed grenade that devastates nearby enemies.

Examples of Special Abilities

The Chronomamcher’s REWIND ability allows them to reverse time, attacking while moving back in history. This skill helps in evading enemies or repositioning for strategic advantage. The Herald’s JOUST ability involves a powerful charge attack, dealing significant damage. The Fool’s TRICK ability deploys a grenade that explodes after a brief delay, harming multiple foes.
