Game Overview

Undertow is an underwater action game with a fast-paced, high-stakes battle experience. Players select their race (Iron Marine, Nemoidian, Atlantean, or Elect) and unit type, each with unique abilities and upgrade paths. The game features a 15-level campaign for single-player or co-op and two multiplayer modes for up to 16 players.

Gameplay Features

Players engage in conquest-style battles, earning points by killing enemies, completing team goals, and capturing check points. These points and power-ups can be used to upgrade unit abilities, making each unit more formidable as the game progresses. Plot and Setting

Undertow is set in an underwater world where an aquatic alien race known as the Elect launches an attack on the polar ice caps, causing widespread destruction and flooding. The remaining human race bands together to reclaim the planet from the alien threat. The Iron Marines, an elite group of underwater divers, are sent to combat the alien threat. Other factions, like Captain Nemo and the Atlanteans, also join the fight, each with their own agendas and motivations.

Multiplayer and Co-op

The game offers robust multiplayer options, including two modes for up to 16 players. Players can engage in intense underwater battles, working together in co-op mode or competing against each other in competitive multiplayer. The game’s immersive underwater environments and variety of unit types make for an engaging and dynamic multiplayer experience.
