Unlike its predecessors, it is loosely based on the notorious 1978 television special, The Star Wars Holiday Special. This unique adaptation was developed using the Scorpion Engine by earok.

Storyline

In this intergalactic adventure, Han Solo and Chewbacca are racing to the Kashyyyk planet to celebrate the Life Day with their family and friends. Unfortunately, their journey is disrupted by the Imperial Forces, who capture Han and Chewie on the detention block. Leia and C-3PO receive a distress signal and contact Luke Skywalker. As Luke, your mission is to rescue Han and Chewie from the evil Imperial Forces to ensure they can finally celebrate the Life Day.

Development Process

This game was created within an astonishing 20 days, sparked by an idea to see how The Star Wars Holiday Special would be reimagined as a Super Star Wars game. The development process involved imagining the differences in plot and envisioning what it would be like to create such a game in just a few weeks of free time after work. Despite its modest time frame, the game is a solid result, making it an impressive achievement in retro game development.
