As the “Creator” of the game world, the hero possesses an unusual combat style. This includes the ability to use “Programming” to trigger traps and create chance, “Art” to rebuild the level and change the landscape, or “Music” to control the emotions and thinking of both enemies and friendly characters.

Solving Puzzles and Level Design

The set of abilities owned by the hero is not only suitable for combat but also for solving puzzles in the game. These abilities bring new probabilities to the levels, all depending on the player’s creativity. The game’s design allows for multiple clear ways to progress through each level, whether it’s by killing enemies or using various peaceful methods.

The Good and Evil System

In Manifest Destiny, your words and deeds are recorded by the “Good and Evil system.” Whether you choose to kill people and loot or help the elder cross the street, it will have a real impact on the story. The game explores how a kind and brave developer might treat characters in their fictional story when the virtual and real worlds are gradually blurring. It raises questions about whether to pursue one’s teenage dreams despite opposition from family, friends, and financial constraints. Alternatively, one might bravely discard the past and seek redemption in the virtual world.
