Game Overview

Heart Attack is an FPS Roguelite game where you survive against waves of security robots. The game requires strategic decision-making as you navigate through increasingly challenging levels. You can buy and upgrade various types of guns, each with its unique characteristics and abilities.

Key Features

Protect the vehicle from enemies coming from all directions. Use gold to buy the next tier of guns, and choose the right upgrades for your guns. Enemies will get stronger over time, making each wave more formidable.

Weapon Upgrades

Start with a tier 1 weapon and upgrade it as you progress. There are many types of guns available, including pistols, SMGs, ARs, mini-guns, laser guns, crossbows, and sniper rifles. Each gun type has different bullet types: AP (armor-piercing), explosive, and acid. Choose one type of bullet and focus on upgrading it for a significant advantage.

Combat Mechanics

Guns are categorized by range type, and applying upgrades that share the same range type can enhance your combat effectiveness. Additionally, mobs have weaknesses in the form of glowing hearts. Hitting their heart deals double damage and fills up the combo stack. If a mob’s combo stack is full, it will be executed instantly, even if it doesn’t lose all of its HP.

Progression and Upgrades

Several systems make your weapons more powerful. You can upgrade your damage, reload speed, attack speed, and more. You can also unlock new abilities for your guns as well as making your runes more powerful. There are runes for nexus shields, movement speed, damage, Health regeneration, and so on.

Wave Variety and Bosses

Each wave will feature a different mix of mobs: some with hearts behind them, some that fire projectiles, some that charge, some with shields, and more. There are also huge boss mobs that drop chests. Mini bosses and boss mobs require different approaches, adding variety to the gameplay experience.
